  • A few for me:

    • Automatically updating entries with app or URL information if they didn’t match and you had to manually search for them. You have to copy the URL, leave the browser, open the app, search for the entry again, and manually add the URL in the current version.
    • Better defaults in the app like which group you log in to or which collection new entries are added to. Keeping all your entries added to a shared collection is a constant chore right now.
    • Better keyboard functionality. It’s basically impossible to navigate with a keyboard on PC right now. Keepass has a global auto type hotkey which made it so you hardly even had to open the app.

  • But the state of the cat is also already determined in a real experiment because it is linked to the outside through air and the walls of the box via vibrations and temperature. Probably even through photons coming off the cat hitting the box. I don’t know if there’s any way to fully disentangle it from the experimenter. This theoretical cat superposition only exists as a thought experiment

  • If you read what you linked, the meaning where they overlap is in the sense of a tail or something hanging down. The cue in the sense it’s used here, as a prompt to act, was in use since the 1500s in theater. The use of queue to mean a line only began in the 1800s and probably came out of the now basically unused meaning of cue/queue to refer to a tail-like thing. Curly cue and pool cue are the only remaining uses I can think of. Queue has basically lost that meaning in favor of its new one thanks to IT applications. It does not mention cue ever taking any line-related meaning.
