This, tbh. You don’t get bullied for something, you get bullied because bullies want to bully.

Yes, still then there are only very limited software configurations that are allowed.
It’s not even really better on Windows. (Nearly) all streaming services restrict resolution to 720p if you watch on a PC, mobile phone or tablet. With the exception of Netflix if you watch with Microsoft Edge or Chrome, I believe.
Everyone here makes the joke only once. But you have many friends here!
Netflix definitely increased 1080p compression (or said better, nerfed it). 1080p even looks a little pixelated on my mobile phone now when it looked great on a PC monitor a few years ago.
I mean, there literally are complex websites created just to help people find and filter for streaming services that serve a movie or a series under what conditions or prices and the results are so fragmented and unsatisfying. Hell, so often a simple classic movie is on none of the streaming services or just on one on which you even then have to pay even if you are paying for a subscription (looking at you, Prime). So what the f, how should I happily decide for a subscription if the next day I have to yet pay for another one just because a effin movie is on another platform? Streaming has become a damn chore.
I was always wondering why so few people don’t complain about the interface. It’s abysmal. An absolute minimum of functionality in an unintuitive layout that’s always changing. What the absolute fuck. And all streaming services adopted it.
Yeah the hardware I’m running can easily run cyberpunk and any other modern game with satisfying FPS. Yet, it has no 8th gen CPU so I’m not able to upgrade. If I would upgrade my CPU just for win 11 I would have to replace my mainboard and then my GPU would bottleneck which would be, well, sad, so I would feel like I need to upgrade it too … And well, we know where this leads. I’m just not in for this ride just for Windows 11. I already use Linux on a different drive and prepare to fully switch to Linux. It’s just for gaming that I still use Windows and I feel like Linux could really “profit” from Microsofts decision to ditch Windows 10 under this conditions.
If there just was a way to micro pay for a single article. But no, it always has to be subscription based.
God yes.
