You’re right. Here’s the difference though. With “piracy” they can estimate how many copies have been “stolen” and deduct that from their taxable income.
I think you’ll be happy with the *arrs. They’re easy to set up, highly automated and a great way to collect media.
It’s in the app store. You don’t have to do that. If you’re talking about the server, that’s pretty easy.
Yeah, that’s a big limitation.
Oracle is awesome in this one specific way. They suck in all other ways but this is really good.
Yeah. 2 things stop piracy, a fair price and quality content. We don’t have either.
Mr. Pibb needs to be one below Dr. Pepper. It’s the knockoff but it’s decent
Seriously, just set up a kms in docker. Google pykms.
NextDNS is good. OpenDNS used to be, but you know… Cisco.
Why not Firefox?
During setup, tell it you want to join a domain. This brings you to local account creation. Way easier than what the article says. They keep moving that around to make it harder to find though.
That’s how I felt with KDE 1 and 2. I left it alone for a while and recently came back to KDE 5 after getting a steam deck and now I’ve switched my desktop to it.
I use portainer, and when I deploy an image, I write a short bash script for it.
This lets me easily do updates. I have a script for each image I run, it’s less than a dozen. They’re all from public repositories.
If your computing needs are light, you can definitely use a steam deck as a laptop, but while traveling it won’t be a great experience for general computing. As a game system, it’s amazing. I absolutely love my deck.
I’ve never seen this before, but it looks straight forward to build. The inside dimensions are 4" x 6". You need a hydraulic press, and plate steel for the box and lid. The lid should fit smoothly in the top, it should all be about 3/4" to 1" thick. You can bolt together all the walls and base. The top should have a boss that meets the hydraulic ram.
For most things, Linux just works. There are specialized apps like cad packages, graphic design and such that are very problematic on Linux but most of it is fine. Just look at how successful Chromebooks are. They’re all Linux.
They don’t need the computer to see everywhere you’ve gone. I’ve never heard of anyone getting in trouble for clearing their history, but lots of people who have had problems visiting questionable sites.
Yes, exactly.
