I think Voyager is based on the famous iOS reddit app (Apollo?) and is regularly updated. Looks really polished and I’m also using it on android next to sync.
Copilot/Bing Search might put a big dent in that in the future. People will just ask an AI instead of “googling”.
You have to go first to “sources” and then it’s in the YouTube options
You’re welcome
Seems like I actually am!
Done! Never did before, but I guess the headline had the right effect.
In Germany those are often called peperoni or peperoncino
Opinion of one of the admins regarding hexbear, just so you guys know where they stand:
In my view, the hexbear community is actually a positive force on this platform. They are frequently abrasive, but they ultimately have the potential to contribute to what we are building here. They are extremely active and some of them are quite intelligent. But they’ve also become accustomed to a privileged position on their own walled-in platform, and they need to be reminded that their views are considered ver extreme by the average person.
How human of them.
That makes way more sense!
Maybe a take on Google/Alphabet? He might think it gets (purposely) drowned in the results so he won’t be able to find it if he doesn’t save it? No idea though…
Especially because Steve said “auctioned” and not “sold”. Nice strawman, same as his “bad journalism” take. It only leads the discussion away from the allegations.
I’m on a german instance (feddit.de) and it’s federated with db0.
I think it’s just lemmy.world bullshit.
Has anyone read their post about their downtime?
“We shouldn’t close registration or limit the amount of communities because we’re not even the biggest instance in the fediverse”
Like, what?! The argument was always that they are the biggest in Lemmy! It felt like they were trying to gaslight the users.
Same as the other arguments, like new users being weirded out if they can’t register to lemmy.world or apps using them as default. So them being down all the time doesn’t matter? Or that lemmy.ml was the biggest instance and closed down registration and new users registered to other instances without a problem?
I’m really weirded out how hard they try to be the “main” thing on Lemmy.
But you can’t base a fact on one accident. Or even multiple. What if newspapers like to write especially about Tesla accidents to generate clicks?
Teslas seemingly have a lot of accidents, but without checking the statistics and comparing it to other manufacturers you wouldn’t really know if the perceived truth is a fact or not.
You made the first comment: “Teslas aren’t safe”, without providing proof.
And now you’re calling someone a hypocrite because he asks for data of exactly what you claimed, while you’re redefining your first argument as “the contrary”.
So, do you have proof that Tesla’s aren’t safe in comparison to other cars, or is it just your opinion?
Interesting! I tried it a bit more:
Seems like it’s a problem with this comment in particular, but I can’t figure out why!
Edit: I found another comment set to “Deutsch”, written in german, that can’t be changed no matter what.
I’m trying but the save button just loops endlessly…
What difference does it make? Aren’t you able to see the comment?
Alle meine Zuhausis hassen Waldorf Frommer!
I think you’re mixing things up a bit. LineageOS, GrapheneOS etc. are not what people refer to as “mobile Linux”, mobile Linux would be Ubuntu touch, mobian etc.
Btw. do you know about Sailfish OS?
