Boy that article was a whole lot of nothing.
The entitlement from servers is horrendous.
10-15% and if you don’t like it you can have zero.
Worth mentioning there is a big diff between USA and Canada. US is fucked and I have no comments about tipping there.
None of these are as bad as they were before, but Windows OS still sucks. Apple isn’t selling bargain devices of any kind. They are more like decent investments (if you don’t include the butterfly era).
I use it for marketplace though it’s not my favourite. More tire-kickers and scammers on FB than craigslist.
I think my friends who use social media still use messenger for group chats.
I’ve been blocking these users.
Goodbye Gork.
In theory at least they are motivated to retain listeners.
Don’t see mention of Invidious in here so may as well share.
Like piped - front end for youtube. No ads.
I feel like we’re blaming the side that is blaming a side, and there is a lot of blame going around.
Or at least that’s what I did and am trying to avoid doing again.
Lol blame the british
The rage bait habbit dies hard though.
*Fuck it, I’m going to go on a block spree tonight
radio tries retain listeners and spotify free tries to annoy listeners
piped’s been really slow to load lately, if at all
Fairly sure that Alphabet is google parent company
Before I found sponsor block I would just lazily skip large sections of videos. The app is just more convenient.
I’m an IT worker so ya I have a bunch of junk and I’ve seen a lot of ports
lol
I probably will do that tbh. Youtube is like reddit to me - I’m addicted and I’d take the opportunity to quit.
Someone breaks into your house and steals something from you. This person is also selling bananas at the supermarket. Am I morally required to pay for those bananas when I shop at that store?
Your argument makes the most sense to me only if it’s limited to basic exchange of goods, but Google doesn’t exist in a vacuum and mega-corporations should be everyone’s shit list.
I say usually but it’s basically the rule. Of all my things only the QNAP NAS has a slim side down port, and maybe that’s some other convention I’m not aware of since it’s for the copy-data port. That’s among a random pile consisting of a Cisco networking equipment, Intel NUC, old macbook, new microsoft and HP laptops, a hdmi/usb switch, ps4, and a raspberry pi
The logo isn’t that reliable but it’s usually slim side up. Not sure about sideways ports though.
I usually binge a specific channel in a new subject then youtube blasts me with whatever they think will engage me the most and it’s always the trashiest content. Big red arrows, all caps, surprised faces, misleading thumbnails.
