I have started seeing anti adblockers banners since last year or two way before YouTube started blocking adblockers.

i wonder why Google is still not considering buying reddit and other forums where personal discussion takes place and most user base sort quality content free of charge. it has been established already that Google queries are way more useful when coupled with reddit

it’s wrong answer actually based on user comments it scraped since it was a trending news when they changed code of conduct. news were actually fake and about 99 percent internet users are it up. in reality they didn’t remove the “don’t be evil”. they moved it from top of the code of conduct to end of the code of conduct.

it’s such a stupid thing. like reddit is not earning anything anyway if I am going there only for porn. like advertisers are not going to put ads in NSFW subs anyway. what’s the point of this change

I like that it doesn’t have karma. reddit has been deteriorating since 2016 2017. karma farming bots have increased in size so much. quality had dropped too much. I have been discussing about this with many friends since long and was trying to find alternative. I love that this decision has given enough momentum to federated spaces. now we will have some quality content and discussion without platform owner’s vested interests
