I’ll never understand why low res images like this always have half the text cropped off. I get why it’s done when they’re conveniently censoring something, but…ugh. :(

What does PCB stand for?

Can somebody explain what this Raspberry Pi is that I see talked about all over Lemmy? Certainly, it is no pie, but I can’t seem to grasp what it actually is.

After 33 years and lack of citizenship over a technicality, I think it’s safe to say “GIVE THE MAN A BREAK!” Jeezy Creezy.

So specific.

Serious question: How is this different than all the other sensationalized headlines about some technology that’s gonna change everything, and then you later hear nothing about it?

This just means “to insult”. Not exactly interchangeable with “overcome with a negative emotion”.

But yes, I fucking hate this kind of hyperbole in news headlines. The other one I see is blasts like somebody legit fired a Kamehameha wave at somebody else.

Yes, it’s because a lot of kids started wearing their dads’ classic rock and grunge metal band shirts, so much so that it became fashionable, and stores like Target and Walmart sell these shirts again.

Then you have the kids who actually listen to those bands and think very highly of their learned musical opinions (reminiscent of “le wrong generation” kids).

There’s now both a stereotype for the type of trendy person who wears a shirt for a band they’ve never even heard of and the type of person who judges them as posers.

Not with that attitude!

I just looked it up, and the first thing that came up was a ton of articles about a series of tweets Larian put out today explaining that they’re working on official mod support, but that they’d like to ask people to stop being toxic assholes and threatening their devs.

So I guess they don’t have official mod support, but the mods that are and have been out for months are amazing. I highly recommend Native Camera Tweaks, WASD Movement, 5e Spells, and Hexblade Warlock (gish class that makes your spellcasting modifier and melee stat both Charisma so you’re SAD instead of MAD on both Str/Dex and Int/Cha). There’s also a bunch of other QoL mods that are worth getting too.

Does BG3 not? I used tons of mods that seemed regularly updated.

Sometimes, relating to a meme so deeply is troubling. Lol

Connect rarely makes it on these lists, but I think it’s fantastic.

Kind of weird to call them “hobbits” and then pivot to “halflings” when the joke relies on that as the setup.
