It is not really FUD to point out that Mozilla wastes ungodly amounts of money on projects of dubious utility instead of investing it into their browser. Their current trajectory doesn’t inspire much confidence either. Mozilla started to waste even more money on ‘AI’ features nobody asked for.

According to TF1 he was arrested due to lack of cooperation with law enforcement regarding suspected complicity in drug trafficking, CSAM, and fraud. So my interpretation is that they repeatedly ignored french law enforcement asking Telegram to take down certain channels. Maybe warrant was the wrong word I am not a native speaker.

I will never understand why people defend this idiot. Plenty of secure chat apps exists in the EU without problems. Matrix for example is used by both the German and the French government. Telegrams CEO is just reaping what he sowed by ignoring French warrants.

I don’t know. I never was much into modded Skyrim. The last time I played Skyrim was around 2012. Enderal installs like any other Steam game and comes with its own launcher. I only played Enderal because it was recommended to me since I really liked Gothic II and story focused games. I now also highly recommend it. This mod is better than at least 90% of games released in the last 10 years.

Proton is like magic. I remember when gaming on Linux only worked for some rather old games. Now you can almost buy anything from Steam and expect it to work on Linux. What surprised me the most was that even Enderal, an excellent total conversion mod for Skyrim, just worked. The same goes for the newest Hitman. I expected that I have to do some tinkering, but no. You click play and that is it. I doubt that any of these games where ever tested on Linux by their developers. That they all work so well shows how good of a job the developers of Proton, DXVK, and Wine are doing.

This is not surprising. When Tesla started out they had not much competition. Now that all the other carmakers have entered the market it is much harder to maintain their lead. Tesla losing market share was pretty much to be expected and Musk alienating their customers and the laughable Cybertruck certainly did not help.
