Strange, didnt see that, was new in my feed?
Thanks! And does Merkuro use the same backend things as the older Kontact suite?
And if CalDAV is supported, where is it added? On Fedora Kinoite I have no support, only Nextcloud etc. I woule file a bug at the correct place.
Hey, I am really excited about this!
A few questions:
Wireguard has performance improvements at the cost of NEEDING to store client data longer.
Kubuntu still uses Plasma 5.27 which has a lot of issues.
Plasma 6 was rock stable, now 6.1 needs some fixing. I wonder when a more stable version comes.
You want kdesrc-build for that. Installing it is not really easy, there should be a package at least on KDE Neon repos.
If you do interesting stuff, use a good VPN. But those will also have to either delete their logs (Wireguard is actually worse here) or be brave.
Or Tor…
Nobody asking themselves how they got all these details of that person?
Reddit doesnt require a full name.
Not my project lol
I think he installed the snap because it had that?
But yeah, the flatpak is official (even though there are missing plugins)
Btw
My favourite quote of the day
Like everything in this fucking IT world, it’s pain in the ass.
True.
Very true, but there are some packages not available. And Appimages have partial updates now, and dont need huge libraries but just the stuff they need.
Well maybe dont use buggy firmware then?
#coreboot #heads #dasharo
Yes but you messed up your config. KDE has basically everything included so for sure remove Redshift, that may be an issue.
Even though this looks more like a color inversion.
Ooooh lol! I thought that was your sky color.
You dont need Redshift, uninstall that. Plasma has its own tool for that.
Did you do some frankenstein install on top of Mint??
Ubuntu is not following mainstream anymore, which is a bad thing. They are the only ones pushing snaps, while every other distro prefers Flatpaks. Their store is closed off and problematic, and the sandboxing only works on distros using AppArmor.
So they are pushing basically new Ubuntu repos, and just dont stop.
Also they theme GNOME apps like hell, have a strange appstore nobody needs (GNOME Software can handle packagekit, flatpak and snaps).
They ALSO now highly push Flutter instead of GTK for whatever reason, which brings inconsistencies, and flutter is nearly abandoned by Google.
Really nice that he used Victorias graphic
Swap is only needed for emergencies, if you have a bad oom, and if you have low RAM.
If you have like 1-4GB of RAM, ZRAM may be better than swap.
