Freedom ain’t free?
I should go.
Thank you I am actually dumber for having read that.
Look at the up votes and down votes on this thread. That should tell you that a lot of people aren’t following his logic.
As you look at your down votes I think something else will become clear.
First someone asks if this is sarcastic
You say it’s not
Then someone says you must have been home schooled Or never have gone to school to not know this
And you reply that’s the joke.
So which is it? You knew or you didn’t?
“You will use our tool and you will like it”
Which is why I’ve been saying baby boomers AND their parents. Just like today the younger generation were putting pressure on the older generation
my point is still valid. the baby boomers (and their parents) fought for a lot of stuff and won and we are watching those things slip away. Roe v Wade was decided in 1973. which group of people fought for that? (and that’s just one example)
So many people hate the baby boomers but it was the boomers, and the previous generation, that fought for so many rights that we have. And this generation is doing everything they can to destroy what was fought for. It’s fucking sad. Roe v Wade (gone). Not having minors do jobs they really shouldn’t be doing (going away). Not have minors working long hours (going away). NLRB ( i don’t trust that the Supreme Court will find in the favor of the people). IVF (under attack). Gerrymandering getting worse, with no real way to stop it.
By this generation (I mean the groups that came after the boomers). Did some boomers create some problems? Yes. But Damn did they get some things right.
Then why even bring anything up?
What do you mean by “or”?
Because how you look when you are very young can change as you get older.
Many of us have been raising the alarm for years. And being told we are just fear mongering.
1,300 plus fees on top?
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks I’ll pass
Sometimes they are on an older package. Which means they have a much lower monthly bill. If they cancel and then sign back up, they now have a much higher monthly bill. So yeah, a single click actually is bad. But that doesn’t mean the button shouldn’t exist. That just means there should be a couple of prompts. For example, the first one is canceled. The second one is a a screen that shows what they are paying per month, With a section next to it, that shows what they would pay if they signed back up. Then that screen there are two buttons that says no I did not mean to cancel, and the other button that says yes, go ahead and drop the service. That actually makes sense. but I actually agree with the statement that a single button that says cancel and allows you to drop the service in one button is actually very bad.
nah it’s jhZ also known as jay z but a cooler way to say it on lemmy
I want to do that as a prank gift.
Easy solution. Don’t plug the tv into the internet.
Use it basically as a monitor. 🖕To the tv makers
