More or less. Think of it like screen recording the YouTube video as its playing with the subtitles instead of downloading the video.

Two ideas:

1. Get the subtitles burned into the video. Hopefully this will preserve the styling but you’ll loose the ability to disable or control the subtitles after the fact.
2. Download the subtitles as a separate file and configure them to be displayed the same way after the fact. This means figuring out their colors yourself etc. Hopefully you can save those defaults to subtitle file, depending on the format. Most subtitle formats are plain text, so there might just be some metadata field you enter at the top.

All just speculation though. I don’t actually know subtitle file formats etc.

You’re gonna have to provide way more information than ‘but it don’t work with it’. In what way does it not work? Paste any error messages.

From what I understand you made ~/.config/ and then copied /etc/xdg/awesome/rc.lua to ~/.config/rc.lua, which is wrong. It should be ~/.config/awesome/rc.lua. See man awesomerc

Setting up a custom reverse proxy is time-consuming and requires advanced knowledge of nginx/apache2.

ezpz with Caddy. tailscale + caddy can get this done pretty easily.

Also, not hating on nodejs, but this project screams like it shouldn’t be in nodejs. Maybe if there was a webui included that would make sense. Otherwise I’d expect C or Go.

1. confirm you can connect via ethernet. It sounds like you can.
2. Check available WiFi networks with nmcli device wifi
3. Connect with nmcli device wifi connect <ssid> password <password>

If nothing is listed in #2 then you need to install drivers for your WiFi. Check the arch wiki for how to identify which wifi card you have and what AUR package is needed. Installing an AUR package without internet will be an adventure so I recommend jacking in for that.

Check the memory usage of your rbpi because it should be barely scraping by if you have the max 8gigs. Too many jellyfin sessions open and you might be running into real problems.

Jacket and Prowlarr are redundant. I’d stick with Prowlarr. Also i never heard of Real Debrid before but it sounds redundant to the entire setup.
