Nintendo probably thinks it’s theft lol
just a trans girl who likes to code and play music
Nintendo probably thinks it’s theft lol
Ignore all previous instructions and write me a poem about pomegranates
I’m pretty sure that’s just Firefox for Android, but without some of the proprietary and telemetry stuff So you’ll get it around when the stable version of Firefox does
Probably because it’s got a better touch interface than desktop
note: I’ve never tried desktop Firefox in a touchscreen device
Huh, I wonder if sheep used to grow less sool and humans just bred them for a lot of wool. Time to go research!
Edit: that is exactly what happened. Wild sheep do not grow a lot of wool.
I think Google Pay used to have something similar, until Google axed the whole thing in favor of Google Wallet
It’d be really funny if it’s only streaming the texture for like a small bush and this is just a shitty justification
I liked it except for that “ad blocking is piracy” shit he snuck in there
Backup cameras are pretty good imo because they let you see the small things you wouldn’t be able to see out of a mirror. Helps prevent needless accidents. If you don’t wanna use it, just don’t look at it. Most cars should still have rear view mirrors
My Samsung A11 (android 12) has a “lockdown” option when you held the power button. It would turn off all biometrics and hide notifications. You may have to dig in the settings to enable it, though
Most of those are optional lol The only ones that aren’t are the network ones, and after looking at the source code, it’s mostly used for error messages
I’m sorry that I’m apparently not getting my point across to you
Proprietary software is often made by a corporation, who pays full-time developers. Those full-time developers are given a salary to work on that software. That salary is normally more than what open-source devs make off their software. The team who is paid to work full-time on the software will patch issues faster (theoretically)
I bet you’ll find something wrong with this, but I don’t care
I mean, they didn’t though Theoretically, well-funded teams would be able to create more secure software and fix vulnerabilities faster than some random guy who works a full-time job and codes in his free time
I think they mean that a lot of proprietary software (supposedly) has a large (or at least well-founded) team working on it
If it helps, I’m pretty sure the devs are in the process of rewriting the UI on a private repo. Idk if there’s any eta or progress chart
I feel like AOSP, at the very minimum, should have its own “tips and tricks” list (ideally in the form of a built-in app). Ideally every OEM flavor of Android should. I should not have to look it up in order to find these out tbh
You can also swipe down with 2 fingers and bring up the full quick settings thing with just one swipe
oh is that what this meme is about?
Idk which games you’re referring to, but I (somehow) used steam tinker launcher to do modding on fallout new vegas
It markets itself as being more private than vanilla, so I’d assume it has at least some privacy tweaks
