the expanse is soo good, some of the best scifi ever made. 10/10, named my kid after the show.

coca-cola, apple, windows, amazon…
i loved that it was an option. not sure why it was changed.
Strongly agree, palworld didn’t need to sustain hundreds of thousands of players for years. Not every game needs to be factorio. It did what it set out to.
I bought it, played it for a while, and moved on. nothings wrong.
i mean, all incandecant bulbs are filled with a noble gas, Argon. If they didnt any bulb would have a lifespan measured in seconds.
the video makes a point that the wetting current for the switches Logitech uses is… i think 5v, however modern mice use much lower voltages. He doesn’t attribute it to malice, more “we have been using this part for 2 decades, why switch”
I ordered in these myself: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004754399010.html but damaged the middle mouse click during disassembly.
it was these keycaps: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001681753913.html
Came with the wrong size space, so had to order a smaller in (not shown in the pic), which isn’t listed on Ali anymore.
Yep,
I tried this, but damaged my middle click in the process.
did you ever watch the youtube ‘deepdive’ into the double click?
Turns out they are using an older switch which, while great at the time, wants a higher voltage than modern, electricity diet, mice.
yea, would have happily paid for keycaps, since i was so far past any kind of warrenty.
Ended up buying some nicer, PBT kecaps 4 years after that anyways. Still use this keyboard, even if part of the backlighting has failed in the… 12 years.

I have a Logitech G710+. After years (like 8) of use, the keycaps were starting to crack with age. I reached out to Logitech and they sent me all new keycaps, free of charge, despite being several times past the warranty period.
Truly amazing customer service.
it shouldnt be TOO hard to make it safe: just add a lanyard style breakaway at the back of the next. light tug pops the tie off.
You could make it simply self tighten, saving you one arm movement.
I think you can pair something like an xbox controller… but i havn’t heard of any spatial controllers.
Apple is all flash and show, and they advertised it as “you dont need controllers, just use your hands”… which is great for some things, but will never be good for a lot of applications.
as a VR enthusiast: if the had just added controllers it would have made it so much more useable.
No matter how good your gesture controlls are, it still greatly limits its use. Theres a reason we use mice and styluses with computers, instead of touch and mid-air gestures!
I just found that Runescape shut down its forums, replacing it with a discord.
Look, i love my clans discord, and my discord with friends, but one for a game like that is nearly unusable.
while i have some significant beef with samsung’s repair-ability, i was able to get my phone repaired. Had a problem with the antenna, and for $200 CAD had a new modem and a new antenna installed at a private shop.
At least samsung doesnt ‘key’ their parts!
who could have forseen that “the app, as a hardware device” wouldnt sell well.
Thats what i want to know, i use Authy, and want to know if its worth switching for.
Meta is valued at 1.12 Trillion, which, sure, is only ~1/2 of Apples 2.6 Trillion… but Meta could invest in VR for the next 20 years without feeling the pain.
I do love my Q2 and Q3, and hope they keep pushing VR forward, which is the main (maybe only) reason i was happy to see apple join the competition.
