Is there anything with Japanese? It’s the language I’ve been learning (I took a class and have been wanting to study it further), but not all language learning apps have it.

People say they want memes like we used to have back, only to flip out when a late 2000s/early 2010s style gmod thing blows up.

I’ve heard it actually doesnt taste bad. I’d be unsettled by where it came from though.

I mean, it wasn’t like I was expecting the guy who refused to take down a popular softcore CP sub until it got mainstream media attention to be morally upstanding.

Ironically I wouldn’t have heard of it if it werent for this, so Streisand effect in action.

Granted a lot of the failures with Anthem was thanks to corporate meddling, like EA forcing them to switch to an engine mid development that wasn’t equipped for the game they wanted to make as they insisted on using something in-house, and then forcing them to release it in an unfinished and buggy state. Iirc the devs even cared about the project too, but once again EA ruins something.

I remember thinking it had some neat gameplay concepts from the footage I saw, it just needed more polishing.

I had no context when I first saw this image and assumed it was something drug related.

Having a good service that’s easily accessible and re-releasing games from older consoles (many of which people have been rallying for) = less of an incentive to pirate them. Obv it will still exist, but it’d be in less of a demand. I almost never pirate PC games since the vast majority of the ones I’m interested in are readily accessible, unless it’s from a shitty AAA company like EA.

So instead of making their games more easily accessible and re-releasing old games, which has been proven to reduce piracy and may even be profitable, they just throw money at a lawsuit attacking an emulator?

Stellaris and Rimworld. Replace Rimworld with Minecraft if including non-Steam games.

The problem is that the widely available tea brands (at least in America) are usually shit, and people not knowing how to make it right and end up using scalding hot water when making green tea or microwaving the water with the bag in. I get my tea from tea shops and use an electric kettle to get the brewing temps right, and now a lot of grocery store teas are disgusting to me.

I like good coffee too, but when I have it I often feel sick later and the caffeine content sometimes sets off my anxiety.

Dang maybe we should take a fraction of the trillions we spend on the military to fund scientific research, and also health and education while we’re at it so we’d get even more potential scientists.

As someone who is unironically into a lot of VR stuff and even owns a pricey headset myself, I did not understand the appeal from the features I’ve seen past looking “”“cool”“”. Even the stuff that looks at least somewhat fun or useful doesnt seem worth it considering the price, especially now that reviews are reporting there are basic features that cheaper headsets perform much better at and are way more comfortable.

Is it while using Jeroba for Lemmy? I had that problem with that app so I switched to Sync for that reason.

When I was four I had to do some sleep study thing due to obstructive sleep apnea, and ironically all that equipment they had me hooked up to only made it difficult for me to fall asleep despite that being the entire point of my stay.

I still remember the feel of those wires up my fucking nose all these years later.
