if you got it from Amazon, they can preload your account and wifi details that you previously used with their products

I kinda assumed this was the case, and some higher ups likely know this too. I know in Ontario, when you get fingerprinted by the police, it’s not just your fingers, they’ll take your whole palm print. Billions of people in the world, very unlikely anyone is 100% unique.

Rewards? Oh yeah, less money in my pocket and price increases every few months? Sounds way more convenient than ublock and revanced. Rather pay with my money for an ad-free experience and line the pockets of a rich corporation. My time is too valuable to compile revanced once every few weeks!

As much as omegle was a cesspit, there are already even sketchier alternatives up and running. This will be a wild goose chase with no end in sight unless sites like this get rid of all privacy and log every single interaction and step up their moderation.

Like piracy sites and other illegal/grey areas, take one source down and two more will appear, or however the saying goes.

Almost like when you take religion out of the picture it’s one country committing genocide against another which is never okay for any reason. Israel can scream “but muh anti-semitism” all they want but it’s a scapegoat. Ignore Jewish/Muslim backgrounds and look at what’s really going on. It’s nothing but a disgusting land grab and genocide that’s been going on since WW2.

The world would 100% be a better place without Israel, and that’s nothing to do with their religion. The country itself is evil and corrupt. They are bigoted and hypocritical. Israel deserves no sympathy or support. Out of all the bullshit I’ve seen happen in the middle east the past few decades, Israel is definitely the most abhorrent and repulsive source of conflict.

This isn’t as much of a meme as it’s a commentary on the state of the media industry. Even when my disposable income was great enough for me to subscribe to multiple services, piracy is just so damn easy and convenient that I’d rather pirate everything I want and have it all on my own streaming server (jellyfin) and be able to watch everything in one place, instead of having multiple services with hardly any worthwhile content. Having to scroll through hundreds of movies and shows I have no interest in to find the handful of things worth watching, spread across multiple services and apps, is nothing but a headache. Plus, even if I pay for a subscription, they up their prices on a regular basis.

This is no meme, this is a statement that the only real way to enjoy media without headaches is piracy. This has always been the case and always will be.

the only addons you need for blocking ads on youtube are ublock origin and sponsorblock. multiple adblockers used together can and will cause conflicts and impair the ability to properly block things.

Nothing is going to change if all the companies violating rights and stuff keep getting just a slap on the wrist. Yeah, 368 million is a lot, but it’s pocket change when considering tiktok brings in over 9 billion revenue a year.

Vivaldi is going to block this. It is a thing being built into the engine and they are going to be blocking it in their browser.

I know people say Vivaldi is slow but they’ve done some refactoring recently. Gave it a whirl and it’s as fast as Edge now on my old crappy laptop.

If you’re using the official F-Droid app, I recommend you check out Droid-ify. It’s more modern looking and faster, and along with the F-Droid repositories, it comes with the IzzyOnDroid repo preinstalled.

Any complaints from within the past few months are still entirely valid. This isn’t a review bomb in a sense of a brand new game comes out and people shit all over it because the dev said or did something stupid. This is people finally giving feedback they’ve wanted to give for awhile, but couldn’t give in official channels until now.

The game has been out for quite some time now. It’s only just arrived on Steam. Battle.net had no way to post game reviews, so now everyone is giving their opinion since they have the platform.

Just because the game is new on steam, it doesn’t mean the game is actually new. People finally have the ability to let Blizzard know what they actually think, and they’re doing just that.

I had it enabled for a bit and everything worked fine, but I was worried about accidentally triggering it so disabled it before hearing about the false alarms.

Meanwhile in Canada it’s being recommended to disable emergency SOS on both iPhones and Androids because of how many false 911 calls they end up placing, causing first responders to waste time on non-emergencies.
