Whitelist/allowlist for this region comes to my mind. But probably some other specific problems would arise from this too. Hmm…

Shouldn’t they be capable of detecting where the connection is going and disconnect/block it for specific regions or something? I have no clue how any of that stuff works but this one thing feels like it should be the case.
Not sure if it’s the same thing but a few days ago I saw a youtube video where person modded it with a wifi card so it could communicate with your pc which is at home. It required internet access from your phone which needs to be near though.
Same. I have zero clue how to use it but anything’s better than windows.
Just opted out myself but there was a print saying that they will collect all that data anyway but it will be disconnected from our account. Like wtf is that even supposed to mean?
What? I opened it and I had it bookmarked as well when I rarely bookmark. Lol
Yeah, lmfao. I like the tech and all but ignoring criticism and jumping straight to gatekeeping is just soooo bad. Those people are one of the reasons why people dislike ai.
Your response doesn’t apply to ANY of his 4 points…

Thank you for info. Since making the post I got distracted with other stuff and didn’t get into troubleshooting too much. Last crash was today so any help is still appreciated. <3
This post reminded me why I had this community blocked for several months until recently.
Not really beginner friendly because it doesn’t teach you much but the site has a nice list of resources that goes even boyond piracy: https://fmhy.net/beginners-guide
Will that fix their horrible site and mobile app that constatntly breaks on me? I’m not going to pay a corporation that treats users and creators like shit and can’t even make a good way to interact with the service with all that money. If they prpvided a fantastic service and were pro-consumer and pro-creator then I totally would. But they’re the opposite of that.
ELI5? What does that mean and how did you do it?
Welp, in that case a crash in a session without any updates shouldn’t happen. I will be looking into logs later. But first I need to get some good sleep and find out where the relevant logs are.

RTX 2060, will check drivers after getting home.
The funny thing is I’m already on X11 because when it launched on wayland I couldn’t do anything because of messed up resolution. It was very low and most of the interface was outside the screen and while trying to troubleshoot what’s going on I found this switch on login page and was using X11 ever since. I have 4 monitors connected to my pc and my main one is a FullHDUW monitor and second one like that on top of it. For some reason the second monitor is always visible to the system even though it’s turned off but I didn’t knew at the time so I haven’t tried disconnecting it to see if it was the fault.
Will check them once I’m home. Glad to hear that it’s uncommon.
