So let me guess, the point is to get rid of AdBlockers isn‘t it? I liked my iPhone, but if they fuck with AdGuard I‘ll switch. Google seems to be spearheading this though, and if they get AWS/Azure etc on board, will there be any way to escape it at all? This worries me a bit.

Stupidity is in the eye of the beholder. You can judge me as stupid in return for thinking that of these new subscribers if you want and then we‘ll both go our ways. Only one of us will pay Netflix no matter how much they enshittify their service or how much they raise their prices (since it‘s “priceless”) and one won‘t. C‘est la vie.

Maybe it‘s cause I‘m a woman or maybe I‘m too stupid, but I read 3 negotiation books and tried multiple times with all I had learned and despite years of stellar performance reviews got fuck all (well like 1-2% twice in 2 years at 10% inflation lmao which felt like an insult).
Leaving for another job is what finally helped me out to get the 20% I desperately needed after that.

It‘s probably going to be the other way around if anything, Spotify eventually doing various moves worsening the experience in an effort for more money. Whatever floats their boat I guess, while I appreciate the attempt at an answer of whether they will use EEE, I don‘t think it was a satisfying answer, cause specifically others this happened to before did not end up “the same”, but worse, as users abandoned them after the bigger thing started introducing interoperability issues and features which made switching logical.
Pretty much like the war on drugs leads to more drug deaths due to contamination and shame (less likely to call for help) etc, I could see this pushing people towards sketchier sites with rape videos or revenge porn.
Spotify, only because they still got everything I need and I don‘t want to bother with building my own music library. If they enshittify the service enough, I‘ll ditch that too though.
