Allegedly another company has licensed the designs forom Microsoft and we’re supposed to start offering them later this year… Although there isn’t exactly much runway left this year and the only articles talk about the announcement so in January so who knows.

I resentfully hung on to it after the take over but soon as a the icon changed from the bird on my phone I just couldn’t and uninstalled it.

That’s my problem too. Weird Twitter just doesn’t seem to be a thing on mastodon , or if it is the lack of an algorithm makes it hard to find the right kind of accounts to follow
