What is the alternative? For nothing to ever be successful? To let the gaming market continue to degrade into microtransaction hell?
I don’t even agree with their premise that it makes it harder for similar games in the genre to succeed. The popularity of BG3 will probably make people more interested in the genre regardless of how amazing it is. As long as it is priced accordingly. I would buy a smaller scale CRPG game if it were $20-$30.
Yes it is inconceivable that we as a society have decided the ad industry is worth so much money rather than doing something productive.
Look, I’m trying to be subtle, but like 95% of what they put on the internet is basically an ad. I get that the advertisement industry is huge, but I personally find this to not be a valuable contribution to the world and in general a net negative. Maybe back in the day they could have some benefit of the doubt that their opinions are their own, but because they get paid by sponsors they are just shills. As far as I’m concerned this company is worthless and should split up.
It seems inconceivable that they could grow to the point of having so many employees. They don’t do anything that I would consider valuable. Clearly other people in the world disagree or else they wouldn’t be making money.
Why is a youtube channel a big company? I don’t get it. They don’t even make anything. Just record some unboxings and go home.
I understand the headphones in this scenario would be made by Sony which is why it being partnered with Noctua seems kind of pointless. They don’t bring anything to the table when it comes to headphones beyond the color scheme.
No, because Noctua is not just a color scheme it is a company known for making quality fans. I don’t care about brands. I care about quality products and as far as I’m aware they have never produced headphones before or know anything about making headphones.
Sony S200F 2.1ch Sound Bar with Built-in Subwoofer and Bluetooth, (HT200F)
It is a steelcase series 1. Best chair I’ve ever had. The back can recline without the seat bottom moving. The arm wrests can move in any direction or angle. The material is comfortable and doesn’t get sweaty.
Yes, which works for the few, but they know that the majority are completely oblivious and will just consume whatever they are given.
As long as they let you display the site onto your monitor you will be able to manipulate what you see. This is a pointless arms race that only wastes peoples time.
Cables from the monitor go through the monitor mount. All these cables are bundled and twist ties into a single group that go horizontal to the back corner of the room and down into a cable management box which also has a power strip inside of it. Down there I also have a displayport KVM and a laptop dock.
Ah, it is some artwork by a guy who goes by Ilya Kuvshinov. I think this particular ones title is Graveyard. I didn’t know she was supposed to be standing in a graveyard when I got it.
On my monitor? It was taken at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens during the Chihuly glass exhibit. I have many more photos of it on my PixelFed if you are interested.
Shame you will have to squish your cute little hexagons of thermal paste.
As a completed object perhaps, but they aren’t exactly attached to one another. The “tabletop” is simply sitting ontop of the shelves. Which becomes a desk. Unless you would like to call it a desktop, but I feel like computers have co-opted that terminology.
I’m not sure. It is a 34 inch 21:9 ultra widescreen monitor.
