Is there a tracker that gets most switch games? I used to use nsw2u, but lately most games area direct DL and not torrent. IPThads some of the games, but many of the ones I’m looking for are missing.

Technically VMs are older than Windows, but it was not super accessible in the 90s and early 00s which is when I’m guessing you were doing this.
Nextcloud can be self hosted very cheaply, or you can find some hosted instances. There are applications that can encrypt cloud storage for some services. I would recommend just getting a NAS or a VPS and running nextcloud on it.
I will never understand why people dont just use firefox and its derrivatives…

I prefer to use ansible to define and provision my containers (docker/podman over containerd). For work, of course k8s and helm takes the cake. no reason to run k8s for personal self hosting, though.
Airsonic Advanced and DSUB on Android are pretty good options since DSUB has advanced local caching options.
I aquire my music then run it through Picard for tagging which places it into my NAS where it is mounted to airsonic and jellyfin containers for consumption.
The jellyfin apps have gotten a lot better and I find myself using feishin and finamp more often lately.
