7·1 year agoGiven the nature and tone of your replies, the appeal to your professionalism rings hollow. Especially telling every other comment that critical of your idea to get out or calling them childish. For someone supposedly attempting to help you’re sure being very belligerent and hostile. Might be worth doing some introspection over. I certainly hope you don’t communicate in such a fashion in your professional capacity that’s for sure.
I’ll see if I bookmarked it but there was a site with a bunch of VPNs listed with their privacy/functionality compared. Using it as a reference I ended up on Mullvad VPN. Super simple set up for the basic stuff with some more functionality under the hood if you need. iOS and windows app for quick set up too. My experience with them has been only positive so far.
Even as someone who gets occasionally tired of online activism, what is even the joke here?
Seems like it started off as a set up for one of those “it’s just a joke guys relax” type jokes only for the second panel just to be “an archeologists, with only a skeleton for reference would initially assume you’re a male… so QED!”

76·1 year agoNo, people get bent out of shape because it’s a gendered, sexist term. End of story. Just like man-splaining. You can discuss male specific toxicity and men being condescending without using terms that very clearly are divisive and prejudicial.
If you use the terms while pretending to be progressive or for equality then you’re a liar and a hypocrite. Hope that helps.
