Yeah, the informants names he purposefully published who were surely executed after will never get to go home. Fuck this guy, sincerely.

Well that’s cool if they want to become an ad company, but last I checked they are known for making a browser. I’m sure they’ll do so much better than Oracle in the ad business. /s
I wish Mozilla had been really clear about their intentions and end goals with this acquisition. On the face of it, it looks terrible. Especially when you look at their jettisoning of Servo.
What the hell are they up to if making a browser engine isn’t a core competency, but buying an ad company is considered a wise move?
We got click-baited into reading about Microsoft doing shady shit with their browser default settings (again, no less!), but that part wasn’t even mentioned in the article.
Byyyyyye bye Little Sebastian
Yo dawg I heard you like translation and compatibility layers with your translation and compatibility layers
That one poster who’s been raging against Linux all week is going to be so pissed. Love to see it.
Is that you, Sam?
I said not normally, meaning yes I do (and just did), but in this case I do not feel bad because Sam Altman plainly sucks ass and deserves to cry for his numerous blights on humanity.
What is the point you’re making?
I wouldn’t normally make fun of someone’s looks, but this guy is a boat anchor on humanity. There’s enough cheek there for three orangutans

I’m sure there are other examples, but Android is definitely the first instance I encountered of big corps trying to use “open source” as a benefit only to poison pill their offering into a nearly useless corner. One of the many examples of Google torching their positive reputation over the years.
Maybe we need support for basic shit like file browsing and PDF viewing packaged with the OS? They still manage to make the OS require over 7 gigabytes of disk space, but can’t manage to squeeze this in?
First, you need to separate power hungry crypto from AI, one provides a real benefit while the other is a useless fiat that can be accomplished without dumping gigawatts down the drain. If you want to trade crypto that’s fine, just don’t use a vulgar amount of society’s power to do it.
I’m gonna rewrite your mom in rust
You lost the argument, time to redirect redirect redirect!
U.S. companies don’t steal
You made this dumb claim, not me.
And the point was there are steep consequences to stealing. Unlike China parading around like they’re some kind of divine power when they just steal shit all day long.
I love it when the apologists’ friends show up, when you guys can’t argue the high ground any more you just take aim at everyone else
No, I’m afraid not. In America there are laws against stealing shit, look at what happened to the Apple Watch over the past few weeks. Or the billions Adobe paid to look at Figma’s IP.
I hope you spend decades creating something new and exciting only to have someone else come along and steal it. I’m sure you’ll shrug it off 🤷 and say they were just competing (since now you’ve said it’s not poverty driven).
What’s the next goalpost you’re going to move?
