Confidently wrong.
There are different grades of stainless steel. 99% of the kitchen sinks where I live, including mine, are stainless and I’ve never seen rust spots on any of them. I’m a plumber and have dealt with one or two stainless sinks during my life.
I’ll bet you’ve probably seen what, maybe five or six stainless steel sinks in your time?
