Alright, my issue is not new. It’s the same old non-genuine Adobe bricking window that people have been bringing up here for years.
I got my Illustrator repack from m0nkrus, it worked for about a month, and then it’s bricked.
So, here’s the weird part. When I open my task manager, there’s no Adobe Genuine Integrity Service in my task manager.
I open my services with run/services.msc, and there are 0 Adobe services listed for me to disable.
There are no folders on any of my drives labeled “AdobeGCIClient”
I’ve run the command prompt to delete AGSService and AAMUpdater, but both of those failed, citing no files with that name exist.
I have disabled all in and out traffic from Adobe services in my firewall.
I have uninstalled, and reinstalled.
Still, I am blocked. Anyone seen anything like this before?
Occasionally, windows updates seem to break the m0nkrus fixes. Not every update, but it does happen. Just uninstall/reinstall or pick a more recent version from m0nkrus, and you should usually be good to go for another year or two.
I’ll be giving that a try today. Thanks much.
