Are you suggesting that OS drive encryption should never be implemented due to the fact that computers might sometimes need to be accessed without the OS booting up? That doesn’t really make sense. That’s what Bitlocker keys are for, to unlock the drive if needed.
Well, most people do have a secondary device, and of those that don’t, in most cases they can just use someone else’s.

Yeah, my PC still have the occasional USB issues, and if you go with laptop AMD chips now, you’d have to also deal with Mediatek wifi cards since AMD has an exclusivity deal with them.

There are reasons for people to be there other than to support the Tankie devs. In the same vein, there are plenty of reason for people to be on Twitter other than to support the Nazis.

Not all parts of twitter is chock full of Nazis. The parts I follow probably won’t ever move over to Mastodon, so I’m stuck with Twitter. The good thing is that part barely has any Nazis.
